Even though times are tight, we all like to look and feel our best.  Lately we’ve had letters from customers asking for a bit of budget glamour, so this week I’m giving you some advice on salon sparkle that’s easy on the purse strings.

Supermarket brands may be slightly cheaper but really are a false economy.  Use professional hair care products that only contain the best ingredients for long term saving – a little will go a long way and your hair will always be in the best condition possible.

Let it shine
A shine spray such as L'Oreal Tecni.Art's Crystal Gloss Shine Spray will add gloss to dull hair and revive the colour when it starts to fade.

Define
Definition products such as hair paste, putty or wax can hide grown out dead ends when applied to the ends of your hair and will therefore buy you a couple of extra weeks before needing to book your next hair appointment.

 

Colour
Stretch out the time between appointments by having a diffused and not a defined parting. This will work wonders at hiding grown out roots – as will one of the trendy, thick headbands which are proving popular at the moment and can be picked up for very little cost in most high-street accessory shops.

Multi Book
And when you do book in for your beauty treatments try to book more than one, as many salons will give good discounts for clients who book a package of treatments in one visit,
